Once you see the Cornish Rex breed, you do not forget anymore. The cat Cornish Rex can captivate you immediately; may be considered a bit strange as a cat, but in another way it is constantly charming and endearing. Rex shows you that needs you. Their first choice is the bed of owners. They like people, and they also like to participate in all of your activities. Using their paws like hands, a Cornish Rex can pick up small objects, and some even have learned to turn the handle and open the doors.
Cornish Rex have a a sharp observing spirit. They love jumping and they do with grace, landing on their owner’s lap or, better yet, under his chin. When you are not paying the proper amount of attention, the Cornish Rex will make their feelings known.
The Cornish Rex is a breed surprisingly resistant and does not require any unusual care. They adapt easily, they are easy going, and try hard for their and your entertainment. The Cornish Rex loves heat and will stay as close as possible to its source.
The Cornish Rex have soft, wavy, rippled coats which lack guard hairs, and therefore they don’t shed like other cats. This means that the Cornish Rex require very little grooming, and they don’t deposit hair all over the house.
Cornish Rex has a thin, athletic body, but not weak at all; they have strong bones and muscles. The main characteristic is the very short waving, surprisingly, soft coat. The Cornish Rex cat does not shed so much so its coat needs minimum grooming.
They are really adorable, getting along perfectly with people, family or visitors, children even very young ones and other pets. They have an extremely sweet personality, immediately captivating you, a life time companion, perfect for any kind of family.
